AIM:
– To demonstrate safe full arch implant dentistry
– To demonstrate an approach to treatment planning, record keeping, consent and deal with potential complications using various protocols available.
CONTENT:
• Understanding anatomical variances, implant alignment / positioning, and number of implants for full arch work.
• Understanding the potential for risks and complications
• Understanding the various approaches including FP 1, 2, 3 type classifications.
• Understanding the use of multi-unit abutments (MUAs), screw and cement retained bridges.
• Understand concepts of immediate placement techniques and immediate loading criteria.
• Understanding the use of extramaxillary implants (like Zygomatics, Pterygoids and Nazalis implants) in full arch cases.
• Understanding the protocols for maintenance in such restorations for general practice
MATERIALS INCLUDED:
All materials will be provided by Southern Implants. Delegates can place 2x Conventional and 2x Co-Axis implants in a model and attach multi-unit abutments.
CPD Certification will be provided for the course for components A, C and D.
Delegates will need to actively participate in this training to be of maximum benefit.
